Contenido completo: Las relaciones entre España e Italia en el ámbito del narcotráfico son tan antiguas como el propio negocio, y en los años recientes han aumentado de manera particular las rutas vinculadas al transporte de hachís. Los actores principales del negocio en la Península Ibérica se establecen en Marbella, y en los últimos tiempos, también con frecuencia, en Barcelona. Por esta razón, ambas localidades mediterráneas son el escenario este martes de una extensa operación internacional destinada a desmantelar una organización de gran relevancia que trasladaba la droga al país italiano.

De este modo, se está llevando a cabo un dispositivo en colaboración, liderado por los Mossos d’Esquadra de la Generalitat de Cataluña, a partir de la investigación realizada por la Guardia di Finanza, que es el equivalente en Italia a la Vigilancia Aduanera. La ruta principal que se está investigando es la que conecta la Ciudad Condal con Milán, de la que se ha hablado en numerosas ocasiones en Narcodiario.

Unos 120 agentes se han desplegado en los mencionados puntos para desarticular una organización criminal transnacional dedicada, principalmente, al tráfico de hachís, bajo la coordinación de la Fiscalía Antimafia de Milán y el Tribunal de Instancia de Badalona.

En las horas venideras se dará a conocer el resultado final de una acción que se anticipa como muy significativa, dada la cantidad de registros efectuados, y que ayudará a vincular a la red criminal con algunos de los alijos de hachís intervenidos en la ruta hacia Milán en los meses recientes.

Por el momento, los Mossos reportan la detención de 16 individuos, de los cuales dos fueron arrestados en Italia (en Savona y Milán) y los restantes en Barcelona y Tarragona (diez), Zaragoza (tres) y Marbella. Durante los registros realizados se han confiscado drogas, dinero en efectivo y diversa documentación.

La presencia de ciudadanos italianos es habitual en toda España, pero especialmente en el área metropolitana de Barcelona y también en la Costa del Sol, todo con el fin de gestionar en persona sus negocios de narcotráfico.

Thus, a collaborative operation is being carried out, led by the Mossos d’Esquadra of the Generalitat of Catalonia, based on the investigation conducted by the Guardia di Finanza, which is the equivalent in Italy to Customs Surveillance. The main route under investigation is the one connecting the City of Barcelona with Milan, which has been discussed numerous times in Narcodiario.

About 120 agents have been deployed in the mentioned locations to dismantle a transnational criminal organization dedicated primarily to hashish trafficking, under the coordination of the Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office of Milan and the Court of First Instance of Badalona.

In the coming hours, the final results of an action that is anticipated to be very significant will be announced, given the number of searches conducted, and which will help link the criminal network to some of the hashish shipments intercepted on the route to Milan in recent months.
